Held on monday (May 2nd) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, this year's Ball celebrated the opening of the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibition, featuring the late designer’s iconic work. The Costume Institute Gala Benefit was hosted by actress Salma Hayek and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, academy award winner Colin Firth, designer Stella McCartney and Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
